Was going to fish 12 till 8 tonight. Cudnt get no lug anywhere. so got rag and frozen baits. Started at the walkway. And it just blowing really strong westerleys down that river. My lead wasnt ganning nee where. So tryed for abit shelter further up river and still it was drilling towards is. Seen loads on the end of sheilds pier like lol. Forecast for light south easterleys friday at the minute. So i'll be using the bait up then.

probably down roker myself tonight if the wind subsides a bit, not going down till around 3am though to fish last of flood, expect it to be whiting city tonight. still forcast windy but a bit less than it is now, might see you down there.

was tons of whiting there last night over a lb mark also heard of a pollock around 6lb during daylight hours only seen odd codling to around 2lb goodluck with that wind and a peaceful time to fish early hours but ya will notice the piers a tip again

I was on the pier from 12 I did nt even have a chuck as I was baiting up the wind claimed 3 eyes on my rod game over for me

Was on the pier aswell today from 12. One chuck at the blocks in 2 hours, then tried to get a bit of shelter at the end but the wind was whipping round it! Came off at 3 hoping the wind would die down the further we got in but not a chance. Feels like I have got no skin left on my face!!!!
