Conditions were terrible. Parked at Roker pier at 12.30 to have a look and it was perfectly fishable - moderate nw wind (where were the forecast northerlies??). Went back at 1.15 after registering and the change was unbelieveable - Storm force northerlies, sea lashing up against Roker.
All the weights needless to say come from the wear. There were a 5 pounder and 6 pounder at the Rat House where I was (got 1 whiting!!)
