Hi all, not been on much lately due to work and computer problems but all would be most welcome at the 10th New Hartley Open. Good value, good prizes and usually a good day out.
Sunday 27th February 2005 9am - 1pm
Boundaries - Tynemouth Pier to Amble Pier (excluding the piers), Blyth Pier in bounds but bear in mind what Alan has said about the end.
First prize £1000 plus more cash (subject to entries) and many table prizes.
As it\'s the 10th open a special prize for 10th place plus prize for last weight so get back anyway if you\'ve only got the one!
Tickets will be in local tackle shops the day before or available at HQ, New Hartley Sports and Social Club from 7am on the day.
Entry £7 seniors plus Heaviest fish sweep £2 (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
Teams £2 (1st & 2nd)
Juniors (under 16) free but must be accompanied by an adult. All juniors returning to the weigh-in get a prize even if they don\'t catch. Juniors wishing to fish for the main prize table may do so on paying full entry fee and will get any prize in addition to the junior prize.
Hot drinks available on the morning and hot food available for the presentation. (good curry and chips etc again)
A big thank you to John Laidler, Sports and Leisure, Blyth who once again has sponsored this event as he has done since the start.
Hope to see many of you there, come up and introduce yourself and good luck.
Remember a NESA member Davyred is the reigning champion if you want to knock him off his perch.
Anyone wanting more details give me a ring on 07960 966247
