Hi lads, little info for anyone who fancies a chuck over the Christmas holidays.

Alberta SAC Christmas Open.
Christmas cash match.
Tuesday 27th December 2011
Open to all Anglers including non members.
Fee £5.00, Heaviest Fish £1 (optional)
Payout 100% (1st 60% 2nd 40%) Heaviest Fish 100% payout.

Registration at Hebburn Marina from 7.00 a.m. to 7.30 a.m.

Fishing form 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. with the Weigh-in being until 2.30 p.m. also at Hebburn Marina.

Boundaries:From Jarrow Riverside Park to Hebburn marina, to include, River Police HQ, Church Bank, the Mesh and Hebburn Marina INCLUDING the Stone Jetty.

Any rules? Eg if we secure a Mark and send 1 person to the registration for the group is that ok?

On the day of the cash match everone has to individually
register as you will have to sign a disclaimer to prevent the club being brought into disrepute in any way.

No probs mate. Defo fishing it though, right on the door step. What's the crack with rigs , beads, no of hooks etc? Are the rules anywhere? After reading threads about another local comp I'd like to make sure I'm sticking to the rules lol.

Hi Guys, I cant post a copy of the rules, entrants will be given them on the day once they have registered, entrants need to sign a disclaimer also when registering. However i can list the rules regarding rigs so you can prepare. i hope this helps.

All types of lure's, beads and sequins are allowed.

Any form of ground baiting is PROHIBITED.

Fishing during the 90 minutes prior to starting time is a breach of rules.

One rod or hand line per angler with a maximum of three hooks or one treble. (Spare rods must not hold any form of bait to include any form of Lure).
