  • Headlamp help

Going to get a new head lamp. Currently using a cree from China, which is ok but just not very good quality & the battery last no time.

Thinking of a Princeton Apex, which looks good, the Lenser H7R or the Lenser H14R.

Any other suggestions, I have heard of some more advanced crees off ebay, with some quite ambitious statements of output.

    Cheers

Petzl ultra is a good wide flood lamp but has not exactly got a good throw beam though.

                  re-headlight

Tony try and see if you can find a Black Diamond, super bright and i cant seem to run the power out of mine, after 7hrs use it only takes 4/5 minutes to fully re=charge, price is about £65 to £70, got mine from sports and leisure Blyth 3 years ago and still perfect and i use it a hell of a lot, had no probs what so ever with it.
