If there's a nice sea on from the north, then probably Whitley Beach or the north end of Tynemouth (Slaty Gut or Boiler).

Whitley with a nice northerly swell is just yum... I remember last time i fished that beach with a northerly swell. 30 fish in 6 hours. Upwards of 5lb. Might have to fish it if its running
        Cod Mission: Cod over 5lb!

        Success: 27/09/12

        PB COD!!!: 9lb 13OZ!

Chance of Success?: Dismal, But possible!

is that 30 fish upwards of 5lb if so that must be a record if only one or two over 5lb and the rest smaller still a great session davy.

I think there will be a northerly swell on, on Sunday and with low tide around 2-3pm, "haven't got my tide table handy", I would start fishing the tide down to low water about two and a half hours b4 low water. They'll be crap tides, so should be able to fish some of the marks for a good while. E.G. little bay, big bay, Panama, what's slope. Good luck.
