Here's the forecast for tomorrow in Coldingham Bay, a relatively sheltered flat shallow stretch of beach, not a headland sticking out into the North Sea with water up to 60 feet deep below it.

          Marine Forecast: 56.0ºN/1.25ºW

          Friday 12/9

          Morning
Gale warning with dangerous seas. Small craft advisory. Use extreme caution. Large short period wind waves.
Winds: WNW 31 to 42 knots
Seas: NW 15 feet at 9 sec.
          Afternoon
Very windy with large choppy seas. Small craft advisory. Large short period wind waves.
Winds: WNW 23 to 32 knots
          Seas: N 13 feet at 9 sec.

          Here's Saturday:

          Saturday 12/10
          Morning
Gale warning with dangerous seas. Small craft advisory. Use extreme caution. Large long period swell.
Winds: WNW 26 to 36 knots
          Seas: N 10 feet at 11 sec.
          Afternoon
Very windy with large choppy seas. Small craft advisory. Moderate short period wind waves.
Winds: WNW 21 to 29 knots
Seas: NW 9 feet at 6 sec.

Sunday might be better, you never know, but I know where my bait would not be this weekend.

live in seahouses m8, dont bother for a few days its not fit for a bin lid....save your bait till it drops away.

When a man who has wrote THE book on St Abbs and Eyemouth tells you to fish elsewhere cos the sea is gonna be massive then i know exactly where i wouldnt be! Take notice Scotty otherwise you will be looking up at the bottom of a sea king heli....if your that lucky.
                      Stay safe.
