  • Vertical Rod Rack

    I would like to install a vertical rod rack in my house to take 5 or 6 beachcasters.Can anyone tell me where to purchase one or suggest the best way to make one

    m thinking the same glasgow angling have some . seen some on ebay but that might not take beachcasters.

      Glasgow angling center do them £19.99 holds up to 16 rods, Doesnt state what size like.

        Fix or lay a length of 2"x2" with the caps off an airosol screwed about 6 inches apart on the floor, or fasten to a wall, then a piece of 2"x1" about 5ft above, then fix plastic central heating pipe clips, the ones with a clip across to hold the rod in place. Cheap and simple.

          Get some sink waste pipe drill a hole through one side then use a smaller drill bit on other side screw or bolt it to timber and hey presto have made a few myself for the boat saves a few quid

            get one of these lads ya carnt go wrong ya rod will be secure after a nights fishing when getting in (keep hold of that love while i get sorted ) plus nee one will want her so nee worrys of any affairs while ya out fishing why i chose this option i love her met her down near roker pier she doing fatclub excersizing she lost 4 ( stone)in kebabs since then

                      I have the Okuma rod stand.Comes flat packed and easy to erect.
                      It will take up to 16 rods or sections.
                      Canny bit of kit!.

                            Come on lads think of the practicalities, you'd have shoved 4 rods in the rack then realised you need the first and have to sort it all out again. Lovely as it is it's not practical
