What is the best part to fish or is it best to keep moving about?

Just been down to have a look to suss out the high water holes for tonight's club-match - seen one lad down the Astley end and a few fishing the groynes. Looks like there's a nice bit of movement in places but don't know if it's enough to bring in some codlings.

It's always best to move around if you're getting no action, but just about any stretch of beach can fish depending on the conditions. Always best to recce it if you can, but when there's a good sea on the holes are easy enough to spot between the patches of white water. Fishes best over low water on a big tide with a good sea running - should be some whiting & flats around tonight though & maybe some codlings.
