    108 anglers braved the winds tonight and 32 weighed in:

    1st - Nicky Robson, 4 fish, 14lb 6oz (North Crab Hill) - £300.00
    2nd - Matthew Holroyd, 11 fish, 10lb 6oz (Blyth Beach) - £200.00
    3rd - Gary Wilson, 5 fish, 10lb 00oz (Whitley Pipe) - £100.00

    Heaviest Fish - Nicky Robson, 10lb 4oz - £150.00 (Hill)
    2nd Heaviest Fish - Mick Wood, 8lb 4oz - £100.00 (Haven Rocks)

    and £50 richer:

    Well done to those that fished, there were some good bags (& fish) taken tonight despite the flat conditions, and some of the scratchers managed to do well with double figure bags of whitings & flats from Blyth Beach.     Good result for you gary, well deserved. Some nice fish wieghed in considering the conditions, nice to see a double wieghed in aswell, well done nicky.

      VERY suprised at the numbers there! congrats to the winners n as the sayin goes its not the winnin that matters its the takin part that counts to the rest of the participants!

        Cheers Shaun, couldn't manage to wangle out 1 or 2 more to beat Nicky unfortunately lol, but there were a few more fish on the pipe (Steve Alexander had 3 for 4lb 6oz, 2nd best bag on there I think), just no real good ones (my best was just over 3lb), spread between 5 of us on the end.

                Gary, thanks for being so prompt with putting the results up on here. I blanked at Sharpness and Bathing Pool Skeer. Well done to Nicky on his doubler from North Crab Hill and his win and well done to yourself.

                          Get yerself over to Sunderland this afternoon Peter & see if you can grab a point or two!(Assuming it's registered with Penn league?) Any more matches before the year is out? - you only need to score a point to avoid relegation!

                          Some good anglers went down last year.....
