  • Fishing Trip

    me and my mate are going on a trip some were tomorrow......

    but have no idea were to go, any ideas would be apreciated.

    we normally fish the walkway, little beach at the groyne and marsden.

    looking to go up north for the day with our newly purchased gear

    Sonik sks rod & Okuma Magnetix MG20LS
    PB Shore | 4lb Codling
    PB Boat | 12lb Ling

    Rod | Ron Thompson Axellerator
    Reel | Penn 525 MAG , Slosh 20

      And judgin by the forecast for tmro ya gna need sumwere sheltered from the wind maybes beadnell thats north

        How far north mate, Cambois, blyth, sandy bay, lynemouth, cresswell, druridge etc etc etc,

            ive been surfing at cresswell before, do you fish on the rock reef or just outside of it?

            if its the place i think it is creswell is right next to duridge bay?

                Fished Marsden from 1-6pm waste of time, sea was flat calm.

                  when you say the rock reef do you mean cresswell carrs ( the skeer behind the ice cream shop ) if so then yes you fish from it, if ya fishing the tide in and its a fairly decent sea on, fish behind the bungalows ( high rocks) into the gut,

                  Cresswell is just before druridge bay mate heading north

                        nee bother mate, you also got the private beach a few hundred yards to the south of the carrs, good mark on its day, with a good sea running, best fished in my opinion, last 3 0f the flood first 2 of the ebb

                            Behind the ice cream shop is a high tide mark but ya need a nice sea runnin. Private beach or the carrs low water but again a sea runnin is always helpful. Fished private beach last weekend an blanked nowt but crabs mate . Hope this helps
