what i meant was the handles on the 525,s and i no of a few people,s 525,s have cracked or broken in half literally had no problems with the avets can,t fault them at the moment thats why i got another1. Edd i got the ones without the mags this time as they where cheaper and on my other avet with the mags in i can cast it with the lowest setting of mag brakes on mind i have got thicker oil in to control it [bling! bling! bling! what a tackle tart i am all the gear no idea could,nt catch a fish to save me life.

look like very nice reel and look bullet proof, will have to have a look at these sometime. do the spool sit very high when the reels on the rod? using saltist at the min and they sit quite high any higher will not be good
gary they sit lovely on the rod mate you should be able to get your thumb right over your the lad to put it through it,s paces with the distances you can welldone on your achievements danny in the making kidda keep at it

commun problem same happened to mine got it repaired you have to tighten them right down for the stardrag to work remember when i 1st got mine could ,nt reel a 3lber up pier wall kept slipping eventually the stardrag went on it
