I fished there last friday night (caught nowt as usual) when returning to the contractors car park i noticed the gates were shut!!! i thought great a bet the gatehouse bloke was been funny however i got to the car and drove out waiting for the gates to open but to no avail!!! got out the car and opened them, drove thru and then closed them again. So i wondering if they shut them to deter the knobs from going in and nicking stuff from cars??
The only fish i want this year is a double figured cod!!!

That's usually the crack on that beach mate last year I had loads a trips and blanked for codling anyway. But this season had 2 trips and 2 decent fish. just looked at the Long range forecast it says strong northeasterlys coming 3rd December that should stir things up a bit if it happens.
