  • line.

    anyone recommend some decent line to buy. Fluorocarbon, mono?? so many different kinds out there. gonna be fishing mixed ground so a decenty all rounder would be good. also, clear,coloured , whats your opinion? hard to believe there is so much to consider when buying line.

    got some of that F1 stuff other day, it's not clear coloured like it's black but I'm well happy with it.

          hello mate,depends on what reel ya using as well,av used sensor and currently using f1 and ultima distance on me ht mags and penns,sometimes the f1 goes brittle cannot fault the ultima distance both attached to clear shockleaders,but each to there own mate

            20lb suffix tritanium is a good mixed ground line .40 in thickness but it breaks at 25lb also the green berkley trilene parky recommended is canny aswell

              Try the Red Mist stuff from Fishtec.750m of 15lb for aboot a fiver!
              Very decent stuff,good enough for sea fishing anyway

                    Suffix Tritanium << Soft, knots well. Super strong. Relitavley low dia. £10 for 660M cant go wrong with it mate

                            cheers for all the suggestions lads, ended up with a spool of daiwa sensor orange stuff 25lb for the winter months. £9 a spool. just need to catch a decent bloody fish noo....fat chance
