blyth pier.....26-10-11

First time out for this season last night but not fishing
as i was only down to have a look about for tonight
and the pier was rammed full of people.
There was a comp on for the police and they had
aprox 7-10 people down and most of them had fish
which was good to see.
As i was talking to one of the lads his rod got a nice
small tap then another one so strike and fish on he
was grinning saying "ah just a small one" then up
pops a nice cod aprox 4-5lb



So what more can i say apart from the pier fished
its backside off last night so lets hope it stays like
this for the rest of the season.

Fished it during the day n blanked so verywell to them all. I would of preferred to fish the night but had to work!

Hi cod boy,

It was me who caught that fish when you were there...it weighed in at 6lb 3oz on my scales at home.

Some nice fish and lets hope the rest of the season is as good
