    News From Hardy & Greys…

Greys Amble SAC Open Shore Championships 2012

    Sunday 15th January 2012

Hardy & Greys Ltd. are very proud to announce their sponsorship of the 2012 Greys Amble S.A.C. Open Shore Championships.
This will be the 35th Amble open competition which attracts shore anglers from all over the country. The total prize fund will be over £7000, and this includes many varied categories including prizes for ladies and juniors. There will also be a free Greys goody bag for all juniors who fish and attend the weigh in.
Amble SAC competition secretary Mr. Jim French said “We are very pleased that Greys are now the Amble Open sponsors. This has always been a very family friendly competition with juniors and ladies very welcome and the association with our local tackle company Greys will help us attract anglers to the area from far and wide.”
Competition HQ and registration will be held at the Radcliffe club in Amble. Registration will open at 7:30am. Fishing from 10:00 am to 3:00pm.
Entry fee is £12 for all classes.

This is fantastic news for the club, and follows quite a few weeks of talks with Greys.
We are now looking forward to an even more successful competition, and a fruitful partnership with one of the leading tackle manufacturers in the country.

I would like to say special thanks to Steve and Martin from Greys, both good blokes and good anglers !

Full competition details will be posted in December.

Yes, Martin at Greys really helped us out down at Whitley Bay this year & was great in helping us put together a really good prize table. It's good to see a local company getting involved with the local clubs & I hope we can do as well if not better next year (better conditions & more fish lol!)

Date's in the diary & looking forward to it - even though it seems a ways away yet!
