I am thinking about fishing the groyne in south sheilds on friday but i dont fish here often and need some tips, I know its going to be low water at 12 ish, will that be a problem for the fishing and any tips would be appreciated,
Thanks
If u fish behind the hotel m8. A big flooding tide has the chance to pull you into a snag. A rope or summik!! Just out from the little bay. But I've fished there and used the same lead all day...
Last time I fished of the end the Wind was in my face and casting was affected. So had a few losses.
Look of the draw I guess...
The tides are too big to fish the groyne and the walkway unless you fish 2 hours either side of low water.
On the groyne, distance definitly pays off for better numbers of fish and you loose a lot less tackle...
