  • WHAT\'S MY LINE

Splashed out and bought some 30lb Berkley Trilene (Gig Game) from Billys today instead of getting my usual Red Ice.

Never used it before - any comments (good or bad) on what you think of it, from existing / former users welcomed, please.

    very good line
if you get snagged i hope you have tough hands cos you only get your gear back when you have turned the rock over that your gear is stuck on

I.D tackle in Shields is doing 2 spools of whatever breaking strain you use for £15- not a bad deal me thinks. :P

Same deal at Rutherfords, brilliant stuff. A little thicker than normal and that probably explains why it\'s so strong.

Talking of line....has anyone out there used Spiderline Fusion, (I think that\'s what it\'s called) for shore work.

Would appreciate any comments...good or bad.

              Thanks

I\'ve said it before but Trilene\'s good. agree with Sless wrap it round your arm with a jacket on and walk back and wait for the bruises before you pull clear. It\'s normally the terminal tackle that snaps.

What was the problem thick fingers hitting two keys at once?
