I was bored last night and remembered sigsy saying all i needed now was to get a mag. I only use slosh... 20 and 30. to cut a long and impulsive story short I bought a Penn 525 mag2. Question is do I cancel before posting on monday or keep it, anyone used the mag2 yet?
Species: Cod, Bass, Coalie, Flounder, Dab, Rockling, Mackerel, Plaice, Pollock, Ballen Wrasse, L/S Scorpion, Common Blenny, Weaver (unfortunately), Whiting, Common Eel, Trout, Pike... think that's it

it depends on the type of fishing you do, the 525 is a good sturdy reel, casts really well but it aint got the guts and grunt of a sl30sh for really heavy ground, but thats just my opinion, i am sure other peoples opinions differ to mine

The 525mag2 is an excellent reel, I use one mainly on heavy ground & it has not let me down yet.
