nothing wrong with the site try using firefox and its perfect internet explorer has lots of javascript bugs and is without doubt the worst browser in the world, i have viewed the site using firefox, google chrome, safari and many more all work fine.
firefox is the best browser application bar none no errors handling javascript or images or flash scripts.

i view mine in 1920 x 1080 and its perfect it will be perfect at any resolution as its cross browser compatable.

no offence cod-o-matic but i think your computer and browser are at fault and not the other way round.

Seems OK to me in 1680x1050 full screen, but if I got 2 apps side by side, the portal frame is fluid (adjusts to width of the window) but the welcome/news, stats, login/logout, and top posters frames are all fixed width, meaning they are hanging off the side of the page. Perhaps if the News/Welcome frame (basically the centre section) was fluid, then this would resolve that?
      The forum section views fine.
      using Firefox 7

hello flux i can not replicate your error the css of the portal auto picks up the fluid width of the forum.

i have viewed the portal in every browser i no i get no overhangs no errors i will look into this further and probably add a css code to the portal index to parse a full width command on the centre coloum but having looked at the portal templates its working as it should.

Maybe its another of the frames further down, eg the tapatalk, or the tide tables or the popular topics which is keeping it fixed width, but its definitely not shrinking relative to the width of the window (at my end anyway).
There's no actual errors, it just looks a little odd when you start to go narrower than say 1280?

Maybe it is the social links, but dont beleive its my browser.
I am running a high end lappy at 1920 x 1200, my native resolution and I use firefox, Chrome & IE. Problem appears worse if I zoom (Ctrl+).
Somethings bugging the rezizing images as I and prev poster mentioned. That tide table looks horrific at my high resolution, must be so much worse the lower u crank it.

I get the same as COD-O-MATIC using IE9.
All it is, is that the popup which appears, has no background colour, whereas in FF7 its got a blue background... well thats how it looks to me anyway

if u use ie it will because its total crap mate firefox is the only browser any 1 needs all flash works with it no script error`s.

install firefox and import ie browser and bookmarks u will never go back

surely it should work on all browsers,no point in saying IE is cr@p as theres plenty that use it,if its not compatable then the faults with the website not the browser ......

As a web designer you have to take into account mate that IE is still vastly more used than safari, opera etc.

                              Browser Statistics

So your website should be completley compatible with all browsers. I am no expert mate, but i do do web design and currently we are testing our websites in ALL browsers and fixing compatibility issues so our websites are the same (To a reasonable extent as all browsers intepret code differently) standard. Its not impossible mate, yes IE is a bad browser but not everyone will use firefox chrome etc. You have to take that into account...
