I've never seen as many out as there was on Saturday. We counted 8 boats trawling as we motored from wrecks between 6 and 12 miles off from the Tyne. That could explain why we caught next to nothing too.Comment

I noticed these last night and and a few headed into blyth docks to unload there catch!!!

The last two boat trips out of Sunderland we saw about four trawlers with their gear out, we caught very little on both trips
In order to become "old & wise", you must first be young & stupid.
Age and experience will beat youth and enthusiasm every time.
Youth and Skill is no match for Age and Treachery.
