Just got on to the rocks at Cambois and there were 2 lads setting up about 50 yards to the right of us when all of a sudden he just fell and went out of sight as we started to run over his mate started shouting on us for help so on way over called the coastguard and once we got there the lad had collapsed and fell into a small gulley half in the water and his mate had a hold of him so he couldnt slip in any further. He was out for the count and bleeding heavily from a wound in his head. The lad came around after 5 or so minuts just as the RNLI and paramedics arrived they treated the lad for a wound to the head which looked quite nasty!!The helicopter arrived and within 10 mins took the lad to hospital. The lad who fell got up and walked to the helicopter which was a good sight after seeing what happenned.A BIG well done to bluepied, justchips and the other lad whose not on here!!! and a even bigger well done to the lads from the emergency services!!
It really shakes you up when you see it in real life compared to seeing it on the TV!!im just pleased everything turned out ok and the lad managed to walk to the helicopter

just goes to show it can happen anytime ,big well done to the lads from the services and the good guys who lent a hand when this lad needed someone.

hope its not somit more serious than just a slip,be nice to find out how he,s doing since his mishap.
