  • fishing options???

well i was gona try somit different ,and thought the groine up and just after high tonight, any thoughts, ideas, which side to fish.down sheilds this morning and a couple of lads were just at the entrance to the hotel

while i was down had a look on the walkway,3 lads fishing nowt caught this morning ,keeping it as another option for later.
theres this space between the tyne angel and the ferry landing,

disabled angler n his family had a couple of whiting out in an hour, not bad going for someone in a chair.has anyone fished here and whats it like .???
still had time to kill before i picked our lass up so spent 1/2 hour at mill dam.once again familys out with the kiddys,2 blokes fishing with there kids with sprat catches having fun with the crabs, and as the littleun was having a bash at casting i couldnt resist taking a photo but just as i got the camera set up he managed to get snagged ,his dad took the rod from him and give it a jerk to free it and guess what ,sprat catches snapps, ahhh
little lad was sobbing his heart out only then to skweel with laughter as his father pulled the line n weight in to find a small ting on.

look close on the right ,one snapped sprat catcher.

called into reelsport for some bait on the way home for tonight ,

    cant wait now.

The wooden landing is the brighams mate and it's a nice comfy place to fish, there is a few snags especially when there's a big sea on, but nothing too bad.

            You are WRONG! Haha

The mark with the wooden jetty is not called brighams, brighams is further downriver. The mark he is on about is called Coble Landing.

It's a canny little shot but I do not like it or highly rate it, its better fishing on the top rather than down below, more space to cast.

well fished at 3 locations this afternoon and only 2 bites for 2 undersized fish ,brigade hut,1 hour .groine 1 1/2 hours save for a bigger tide next time ,then up to jarra park until 6 oclock,,fish had only just started feeding as i left so it would more n likely fish better in the dark.
going to get an early start tommorow morning see what the brings.
