As title says the bairn "Lenny Needs a Fish" was out fishing yesterday and didn't quiet blank as he caught a whiting on walkway. Him and his mates fished the walkway, the spirit, brighams and then milldam, he got chatting to a bloke coming off a boat trip.

The bloke in his excitement of showing the kids his catches went off and left his gear behind, and lucky enough for him Lenny realised he left his gear behind and ran after the bloke. It was nice of the bloke to give the lad about a 3lb cod filleted, thanks mate and I am glad you got your stuff back.

And good lad Lenny for returning his stuff, my point being there not all bad.

No Andy mate they got there bait Friday night to go out 7am Saturday morning, funny thing was they all had there bait in my fridge overnight, Lenny got up Saturday morning got his bait and buggered off out.

He then returned 20 minutes later for his mates bait that was under his bait lol blonde moments aye lol.

Aye Jimmy the bloke was lucky as some of the kids you see out would of took his gear for themselves.

cheers lads,like you say some of the young would have took it for them selves.... there was a group of charvers down there asking for our bait...I bet they would have taking the set of gear any way nice of him to reward me with a nice juicy cod haha
