aye was out on friday at druridge bay had 4 small flats then went to the rubber factory and had a couple of codling just over a pound a coalie and a flatty all took fresh crab in the river , went to the fish quay but it was realy busy couldnt move ,lost a load of gear as it was big tides and a load of rubbish in the tynespecies so far :cod,whiting,coalie,dab,flounder ,plaice,3bearded rockling,mackeral,granny fish best for 2012 :6lbcodComment

Have you got a macro button on your camera? It may have a little flower emblem on it. That will get the focus closer - at the moment the background is in focus instead of the foreground. It looks like a fish wrapped in bait elastic, maybe a caveman's disgarded bait
