  • It is time!

Well, today is the 1st of October, which can only mean one thing... the beginning of the winter season, yayyyy!

Time to put away our summer gear and beaded rigs bound for plaice, time too remove the lighter line from our reels.

Now to refill our reels with heavier line, make big COD rigs with big hooks to match the ambition. Nearly time to etch into our supplies of many frozen crab and get oot there in the northerly gales and with rod in hand cast forth to the double figure lunker that awaits us.....

Not to sound daft lads but these are all our winter ambitions, so in famous wrestling terms, let's get ready too... cast???

What's this cart I've seen people post about? I seen in another thread it's banned from some competitions. Why?

Local bylaws prohibit it being used north of the tyne. Not too sure what it is... But thats the reason why its banned from comps.
