Alas century, the original BNHG's which i have on two of my rods, are probably the best guides all upmarket rods have ever seen.
These new guides look the business but ive never been fond of alconite based rings...South Shields & District SAC -
Had alconite rings on my bass rod, in a wind it fell onto sand rings shattered. so from experience i would say they are very brittle.Cod Mission: Cod over 5lb!
