Hi its one of those places that either you have a blinder or you totally blank.Try rag tipped with either mackerel or squid or peeler crab on its own.I agree with John but you could move along the prom if its quiet. The prom is one of the safest venues around here but if you are fishing below the public footpath or on the staircases watch out for the swell when the tides turn or if the wind gets up.As for the form i fished it the Sunday before last and got a couple of coalies which was very poor considering the condition were right, chatting to a few lads and they said it was fishing well the previous day, lol, they said to fish the tide down.Try it and see mate.good luckCheers Alan...

Seems to fish well at the start of the ebb. I normally fish the steps at the bottom of the ramp at the south end. Had reasonable fish to 4lb out, but lost a few better ones as any sort of swell pushes all your gear to either side of the steps and under the boulders. Be careful if there\'s any sort of swell as it rushes up the steps. Seen fish to 9lb caught there and caught most of my fish on lug and squid or lug and mussel.Ant ´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><(((((º> ¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><(((((º>
