  • Longsands / is it boiler hole ?

Thinking of fishing tynemouth longsands tomorrow as the weather looks pretty poor and heard that place fishes best in a decent sea running

Where the rocks are is this boiler hole ?
At what time in the tide is it beat to fish and what is the ground like

Seen a few people fishing this mark during the wilder waether and have heard of fish coming out
    Any advice is welcome

There is no sea running tommorow according to magic seaweed, the beach usually gets fished over low water with a sea on and the boiler hole is basically in the middle of the beach, if you walk towards the middle of the beach and look up towards the main road you will see a bus stop and line yourself up with the 3rd lampost to the left of it and you should be inline with the boiler hole.

I passed there half an hour ago and it's certainly not flat. Seen it worse but still a decent sea running - def worth a go

before you come down the ramp at the north end off the longsands theres a shelter go down the stairs and right in front off you is a top mark ,to the left is slaty gut a long skeer which fishs best in a srong northerly ,going south past the boiler hole oppisite the park hotel is some large rocks showing at half tide the left side is stoney bottom the right side is the barge bottom, follow on south to the bathing pool and in front off this is the bathing pool skeer best in a southerly best of luck davy
