  • Lure fishing.

    Well lads bought some cheap leadheads of e-bay and now have an assortment of shads. twin tails and worms. Fancy a go with the lures from some rock marks.
    St Abbs looks canny and also Craster off Dunstanbrough castle.
    I might even venture further just to try,never caught a Pollack from the rocks before.

    Dunstanbrough castle's a canny mark for pollock mate, all of mine have been caught casting along the cliff edge rather than casting out to sea, i had one take my lure at my feet. Best at high tide 2 up 2 down but fishs all the way through the tide.

        if my boat trip from hartlepool is cancelled on sunday im off to dunstanburgh with some floats and some spinners

          Think Dunstanbrough is best bet. Have,nt really fished it much just the opening inlet down from the castle. Blanked on couple of occasions i have tried.I know there is some big cliffs when you walk further North along the rocks.
