You won't go far wrong with one of the Sundrdge suits. I've got the ENTEC 2 and it is a great piece of kit - warm, totally waterproof and windproof with enough freedom of movement to keep getting the pendulum casts away. The Entec is the mid-range suit, more expensive is the Crossflow Pro which is breathable and lighter or cheaper is the SAS Mk6 which is heavier.

I'd always recommend a two piece suit for shore fishing so you can take the jacket off for longer walks or if you are getting too hot. Also means you can wear just the bottoms when the weather is milder (like at the moment, I wear the bottoms with a jumper and my smock).

I've also got a pair of Muckboot Tay Sports which keep my feet lovely and toasty as well. Worn with the floatie bottoms I can go into the water knee deep and just above and stay totally dry which is handy for releasing fish or if you get caught by a wave.
      CLIP IT AND WHACK IT

Got to disagree, i bought the SAS Mk 5 last year and the bib and brace trouser inside legs frayed badly, i only live 5 mins from the beach so hardly any walking distance, i have since bought the imax xlite and is much better all round. You can pick one up for £100,00 from e bay.

I would pay the little extra and get a cross flo, one of my mates decided to get the imax suit and the weight difference between the 2 suits are daft, the jacket of the imax felt like a brick compared to the cross flo jacket, as for the bottoms i have used them alot for fishing piers or rivers etc and not one rip or thread coming away or anything, just a little dirty but thats fishing for you lol.

The jacket never gets in the way of casting, you cant tell your wearing the kit most of the time, it keeps you warm through out the winter with added bonus of hand warmer pockets on both bottoms and jacket and i even managed to stick the jacket in my bag or box along with my fishing gear too

I dont really use it now tho, i just use a good jacket and neoprene waders with a set of good socks in the winter

Saying that i had the SAS mk2 for years and only got rid of it because i made the mistake of putting the jacket in the washing machine, after that it soaked up the rain like a sponge.
