Some more marks in Sunderland would be great.

Am thinking about fishing rat house corner tonight. Is rat house corner the little pier or the wall before the marina?
              Which fishes better?

              Cheers

Rat house is the western corner on the small pier Geoff.

If the seas coming between the piers, the other end fishes on the flood, as does the ramp (on the left hand side of the pier as you walk along to the end) and the beach itself.

                        Thanks Davy.
Do you cast towards the pier and into the bay or into the mouth of the river?

I used to fish in the Hendon club but don\'t recognise you unless you used to fish near the student accomadation on the river quite often?

Just joined the Hendon club this year mate.

If you fish on the end, cast towards Roker pier lighthouse. Theres a tide rip which will take you in towards the beach, so you\'ll need breakaways. The bottoms a bit of a **** in places as theres some kelp beds there.

Never fished the student accomodation before though.
