Hi Lee,i just recently bought a greys g mag and gave it a whirl last week.i normally use abu 6500/5500 or penn mags, but thought for less than 50 quid ill have one........First impressions .....well worth the money.Need to take the brakes out and just cast it on the magnets and also degrease the bearings and oil them.........really smooth to cast and performs as well as the abus, the side plate has a release mechanism and twists off which may be a little bit tricky with cold hands...............it feels quite robust and i would say can be used as an all round reel...ie rock marks, beaches etc..........well worth 49.99

The Greys is easier to tame than the Okuma, but the Okuma feels a much more robust reel.

Get yourself an Okuma, keep the mags on full till you're confident, and you won't go far wrong for the money.

Some of the Greys have issues with the anti reverse pawl not working properly.

Don't go the way of the okuma's mate, there no where near as robust as the greys g mags hands down, and are bulky for there size. I've also found the magnet on them hardly makes no difference to the casting control

The Greys on the other hand is made from a solid metal frame, with two side plates made from X-strong plastic. The magnet works great and has a very niftey, easily accessable side plate that operates by simply the push of a button and a twist function.

                  Choose wisely friend.

Wise words mate. The 20 is an ideal size for lighter line fishing.
