6v 12 Ah 6 volt 12.0Ah SLA Bait Boat Hovercraft Battery | eBay
heres a battery that will work and the hours it should last according to its amp hour capacity is as follows, 6 watt lamp on the battery will last approx 12 hours and with the 20 watt lamp on it will last approx 3.5 - 4 hours. hope this helps and its pretty cheap to buy as well.

got this from another site if any help
ive just bought a tiga sl12 with the charger belt and battery a was told the battery wouldnt hold charge so a bought a 6v 12 ah from maplins £15.99 and the female jack plug for £2.50 and the curcuit breaker £2.00 so for a full new battery and set up it came to £21.50 before a bought all this from maplins a e mailed www.headtorches.co.uk t see how much this set up would cost they wanted £45.50 !!!!! no chance ,also the sell the battery on e bay for a think its £29.50 plus £5.00 postage so it proves ya have t shop about t save moneyCod machine

there use to be a place over north shields where you could get the batteries for the old mining lamps... dunno where it is/was but an old friend of mine got me from there many many many moons ago ( just cant think for the life of me who it was )

your right kingcod, but that hole is only an additional part they put on to make people buy there batteries because people think that is what they must need, i done away with that connection because they use soldered joints on the connections which arnt that good because by law and regulations we cant use lead in solder anymore which makes the soldered joint more prone to becoming brittle when a current is passed through it and causing heat which then cools down and eventually breaks the solder down. my tiga is set up on both 12 volt and 6 volt batteries as 12 volt g4's are alot cheaper than 6 volt g4 capsule lamps and the battery last alot longer too.
