As said above depends on what you're fishing for but also what bait you're using and where you're fishing. You can get away with smaller hooks (even down to about a size 2) when fishing beaches and using worms but when using crab or other bulky baits or when fishing where you will have to pull a decent fish up a height then 2/0 to 4/0 might be best. Think of the size of the fish's mouth. Flatties and smaller fish will need smaller hooks whereas codling, coalies etc a bigger hook will still catch. also for swivels do you mean sizes for both the top of the trace and ones for the snood
