You may have not seen me but a seen riding doon the pier mate!!

              Rite lads, final result.

Fished the slab most of the day and managed 2 big launce and a nice size mackerel (my first of the year). Was difficult fishing there as that headwind was a bugger...

When me mate Phil ('phil c') came doon we moved to the toilets behind the wall for around an hour. Thrashed the water to a foam with our spinners, inly for phil to catch the one launce, which he gave to me (thank u mate).

We then moved back to the slab where Phil managed to connect with another mackerel, which unfortunately didn't hang aroond as when Phil lifted it out of the water it 'jumped' off, so to say...

All in all not a bad sesh, will definately be back out during the week to try and catch more of these lovely little sportfish/and baitfish these mackerel are, great fun on a spinning rod.

Nice report Andy and sounds like a canny sesh. I was hoping for a launce yesterday too to get my species count up a bit but it was a no show on the launce front. What type of spinner were you using ?
