      holy island

used to fish with tommy on his trawler out of the island.Go towards the priory and opposite side of the bay theres a little jetty and its basically a sandy bottom.Tidal bay so when the tide goes out all the boats are on the sand.plenty other spots around the island to fish.

back of the island m8, canny hike but go through the feilds until u come 2 some really
high dunes, go over these & u will see a long skeer going out just follow tide down & chuck 2 the left in2 a big bay thick of kelp & u can get some nice red cod with fresh peeler baits.
u will see seals popping heads up all over but it dose'nt put the fish off, we have had loads of fish even when there are around 20 seals watching us just 20-30yards off. great summer marks.
as soon as u get over the causeway park at the first little layby carpark u see then walk through the feilds behind u.
good luck & travel as lite as u can, as i said it is a hike.
