  • Noreaster any one rememnber the lenght of the two parts

    Hi
This might sound silly but i bought a noreaster a couple months back, but i have not been able to use it yet to much traveling with work, but i want to try and buy a decent rod holdall and i cant for the life of me remember how long the two sections of the rod are, anyone help me with this, plus where to find a reasonable rod holdall this size whatever it is

    cheers

Just measured mine, the tip section is just under 92\" and the butt section is 81\". Hope this helps.

Don\'t be daft Bill, we all ask questions we think might be seen as silly (some of us never stop!) That\'s the great thing about this site, nobody ignores daft questions, they just take the p*ss out of them

I walk past mine every day and I didn\'t know what length the sections were, so I must be daft as well mate

if your casting with a 12ft the extra length takes some getting used to ,ive just bought a 13`6\" and me arms ached for a day and a half afterwards ,still according to Feb issue of SA big rods catch fish so fingers crossed..let us know how you get on

Yup no problem, looking forward to having a bash at it, good old over the head thump should do it, probably at night so no one will see me fall on my a**e, hahaha, seriously though a bit of practice, its all rocky rough ground and kelp everywhere, where i am so i bought it for that, good price as well.

You gota laugh, using a 12ft for years was bad enough, but you gota try it, i bought a nice 13ft Greys Apollo recently as well so it should be fun maybe i should sell tickets to the great day when bill goes for it on the beach.

Bill by the time you have had half a dozen casts it will feel like you have been using it for ever mate. Unless you don\'t like it then it will feel like you have been using it for only half a dozen casts lol.
