  • Reel advice for boat, spinning, shore please

Hello. Desperately need to upgrade and get new/used, boat multiplier with level wind, spinning reel, and shore fixed spool reel. Probably secondhand and no more than £60, £50, and £25, and advice guys would be gratefully received.
Had 2 spinning reels give up this summer, both with bail-arm trouble and boat reel penn commander 30, lasted 2 trips out of Whitby! Need better quality reels and advice!
    Thanks.

I can't see you getting a decent quality bit of kit for that ammout mate. As with anything you have to pay for quality these days. This is my first year with gear that has had decent investment in it. Makes such a difference.

Other lads may tell you different but from personal experiences you pay for quality. Not all the time like but I can't fault my 525 mag. And my shimano 4000 spinning reel

A good shore fixed spool reel I would recommend the shimano XS8000 aerlex, costs between £60-£80 but a very good reel.
