I was wondering how long you can kep peeler crab frozen in the freezer and it still be a decent bait? Is it worth stocking up for winter now or hunt around for stuff later in the year?
Cheers

i could not tell ya ...but what i can tell ya my not too clever neighbour collected 44 peelers then hoyed in the freezer straight in without peeling them or anything ...sold me one for a quid from his freezer. and when i used it for fishing the one baited with peeler from him did not catch f all . i caught more on rag and squid that fine summers day.... i guess if u peeled them and remove lungs clean them then cligfilm then freeze in theory it should be ok for a season . in a good freezer
deano remember one of then crab i showed you on seaham pier they had been frozen fully in there shells lungs where in perfect condition who says ya carnt freeze em whole ?
