    just treat myself to a brand new sonik sk3 cant wait to get out and use it. anyone else got one? let me know what you think.

    you will props get a load of mixed replys to this post. I bought the sk3 14ft casts 5-7oz and carnt fault it used it at some of the Roughest ground marks North of the Tyne and its never let me down, very good rod for the price. Think i paid £109 at the factory shop at Blyth when they first opened so i must have had it 3 or 4yrs not sure.

      had mine for over three years ,fish over a hundred matchs a year mostly in the heavy ground and pier can not fault it for the price ,just recieved anew tip under the life time garentee ,what more can you ask for

        Got the 13 ft one and its handled everything ive thrown at it crackin rod for the price
        Nothing makes a fish bigger than ALMOST being caught

          My mates got one and for the price you cannot go wrong-----------------in fact i paid 3times what he did for a Century TT Match and his is just as good.
          The Sonic you have is a lot more sensitive to bites than the SK4.

              the ron thompson is one of the most unrefined rods i've used. you might as well fish with a broomshank imo.

              personally i wouldnt get a sonik either as they are unreliable hence the life time warranty.

                well i took it out on sheilds pier on sunday took a bit to get used to the extra length as im used to just a 12 ft rod. was canny though i enjoyed it. caught a small flattie by the way which was nice.
