Fished Staithes the last 2 nights (2hr either side of high). Saturday plagued by crabs and small whiting.One codling though at 1.5 lbs (put it all back alive).
Last Night...3 codling up to 4lbs and 2 beautiful big eating crabs!!!!!
Both of them got caught on the line above the hook.
Used the big black lug and fresh squid cocktail. (bought from the shop in Whitby...by the Fleece pub) £3.50 for a 1/4 lb of worm.
All in all a good weekend..Thanks to all for the advice.
