Yes some good fishing and excellent fish caught by good anglers whove obviously done their homework. But its a funny old game fishing Bill and you could fish the same places and blank weve done that before But we enjoy where we go straightforward to get to and back there next year

Hi Brian...we done ok mate, we had 8 doublers between the four of us, I had three up to 13.5. Biggest caught 15. Three of them came from behind the digs.
We had to search for the fish but when we found them fishing was good. Last day produced three Halibut but only to about 6lb. We had Cod,Haddock,Halibut,Ling,Dab, Plaice and one of the deep fish Torque or summit like that.
Met up with some Manchester lads who fished a local Salmon Farm as the owner was a Man Utd fan ! They txt us day after we left saying they had two 30lbrs out, but they fished from the actual cages, musta been like being on a boat.
Was the coldest I've been in Norway !!! It's Vega next year mate, booked already

Glad you enjoyed it Ian we were the same regarding looking for fish but good when you found them We find if you get fish one day they wont be in the same place the next and the fish are moving about all the time.Leepy n co enjoyed Vega same week as us they had some good fish but some days they struggled to find fish but had success near a fish farm.Dont know what they like to eat from these farms cos weve been told Norwegians have been advised not to eat farmed salmon

Best fishing I've had in Norway at Saltstraumen and probably the easiest place to get to. There are tons and tons of marks so even if Kurt, John, and Simon have guests there is loads of places to fish. We had doubles on every mark and a good variety of fish with plenty of them.
Price wise it cost us just over £600 for the week for everything but the two lads who booked late saved £100 on flights so just over £500 for them.
Best shore caught fish:- Pollock 6lb+ Beadnell, 9lb 8oz Cod Blyth Beach

The first session we had in Lauvsnes this year was the best i have had in my life.

In about 2 hours or so i had 8 casts and got 7 fish out. The 8th cast i got snagged up with a decent fish on.

two of the fish i had out that session were 12.5 lb ish, including one first cast! a couple of the others about 8 lb!

It certainly didn't feel cold that night!
