Dunstanburgh Castle?.

Hello lads,
Think of giving Dunstanburgh Castle a go sometime next week, just wondering if anyone has any advice on the best place to spin for mackeral, pollock and coalies at dustanburgh?, any marks that are safe and easy?.

be careful wth light gear m8 ,i was float fishing one day wth ragworm picking up small coalfish.chucked out again float went under a set the hook home and the fish took off like an exorcet missile could,nt do i thing wth it probaly a very big pollack took.

Dunstanburgh Castle is a very easy mark to get to if you like a nice stroll threw fields lol 2 miles but honest its worth the walk just for the sights. When you get to the main entrance of the castle tell the bloke you are fishing he will let you in for free head to the back of the castle and threw the gap in the wall walk down the rocks and there is a ledge heading all the way down to the sea pick a spot to spin and enjoy m8. My first time there was amazing defo going back. Be careful of the rocks when wet and wear suitable footwear as they get slippy watch the swell if you are fishing right down the bottom as it can be big and enjoy the fishing and take in the wildlife please take a bag for your litter there is a bin in the castle grounds Parky
