    alreet folks...am getting ambitioius here....ordered myself some tronix wire trace thingy from ebay with crimps and it came today...its of the 50lb breaking strain ...what kind of rigs should i make ..whats the best hook size...heading to kircudbright soon ...ordered then realized i dont know how to make wire trace rigs...my searches online keep resulting in pike rigs...

    I think its just your normal rig then have your hook snood 8 or so inch shorter than usual then tie on a swivel and then tie on 8inch or so of wire then tie to hook.

      Can make a pulley but keep the wire trace to about 12 inches. If you want the pulley longer attach the trace to a good swivel and add another one before it goes through the swivel or pulley bead.

        As said already, as for hook sizes you really need to match the hook size to the kind of fish you want to catch mate, IE no good with a size 1 for cod or a 5/0 for a plaice.
