    hi all thinking of going camping and fishing in scotland east or west not bothered not too far though any one suggest any decent sites 2 kids and missus so has to be half decent site fishing wise not bothered wat species i get as long as i catch suggestions appreciated thanks lads

    thortonloch mate next 2 torness power station cracking camp site they have a web site and some good fishing njoy were ever you go mate

          Loch Fyne. Canny campsite and tackle shop in Lochgilphead and great fishing - codling, dogfish, mackeral etc about 4 hours drive from North East. Nice mountains and forests too if you like that sort of thing.

            scourie nw scotland beach, pub, shop, garage, campsite and loads of fish sea or fly. brill sunsetts.

                gaan to whithorn and stop in burrowhead caravan park,you can walk to the rock edges from the site,been there plenty times

                  as sless suggested last time over there it was very good easy to get to also.

                      .......pubs, fish n chip shop, very nice chinese and indian takeaways in Lochgilphead. There's some lovely walks along the crinnen canal and plenty nice boats up and down the lochs to see. Also handy for Oban and Mull of Kintyre visits if the weather turns too nasty to fish.
