New bearings always need "running-in", they'll be a bit noisy for a few sessions, whatever kind of bearing they are. Secondly, hybrid ceramics should be oiled, they're not designed to be run dry especially for a fishing reel. (I know one or two people who use ordinary steel bearings dry for use in the field).
If I were you I'd flush them clean & start with a drop of something like yellow rocket fuel - they should run far faster than you can control with the mags all the way off. Bearings that are designed to be run dry are the full ceramics & will be specified as dry running by the manufacturer - i have these fitted to my 7HT mags & Toriums, but all my other reels with stainless steel or hybrid bearings are lubricated & run very sweetly.
Get some oil in those hybrids mate, they'll run better & last longer, but as I said if they're new give them a good few sessions to get run-in.
thanks for the replys, ive checked again and he says run them dry but ive put a couple of drops of yellow rocket fuel on,ill try later when get back from tackle shop

i use ceramic hybrids dry sometimes and have no prob.you realy need to put the smallest of drop of tournament rocket fuel in to lubricate if thats what you want to lub.
i use abu 7000s/penn 525/abu 6500 and 5500 wth hybrid ceramics dry no prob.
what i do find is if i put new line on or leave reel for a while it can sound awful first cast then after that they run great.i tend to think the line underneath the uper level moves about if not wound on tight or left for a while.
