Just come back from having a look at Blyth beach, at 6-30 pm Thursday. Saw a boat flying out of river at high speed, followed by another 5 mins later both heading to the Seaton Sluice area sweeping the area with floodlight searching for something/someone.
Hope there are no casualties out there.......
