Only ever fish it in the winter months when the seas away for the codling, used to get coalies and whiting in the summer in the evening and in dark but not much gets caught at hendon in summer month now unless theres a bit sea on and the odd bass is about.

Try giving the wear a shot on a flooding tide for flatties and coalies, pilot jetty (rathouse), glass centre.

the chemical beach at seaham is the place to fish this time of the yr but when there is a bit movement on or after a dying sea, crab bait is the best bait main fish is codling.

if you happen to fish there be extra careful as the rocks can be tricky to walk on .not so much rocks big boulders big ells come out also but not my cup of tea.

this place i like to fish for the table fish the codling. forgot to mention expect high tackle losses as ground is realy rough but thats were the codling are looking for the crabs.
did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?
