    Many thanks to all who turned up, and to the tackle shops for selling tickets and donating junior prizes.
    Unfortunately no juniors weighed in, so the prizes will be held over for the 2012 Amble Open.
    The rod and reel prize kindly given by Garry at Anglers United, Lynemouth, was awarded to young Gordon Holland, who did manage to land and return safely a very nice turbot of 32 cms.

        Beadnell, Newton, Craster etc. All the northern marks.

            Can't remember the exact figures, but 100% of takings was paid out.
            Top 6 heaviest bags, top 3 heaviest fish, top 3 flatfish and the ladies winner all got prize money.
            Heaviest bag was £150, heaviest fish was £100, heaviest flatty was £50.
